Holy Cow!!

She is a little sweetie pie Ren! Lovely picture. I'm having the same experience with an Ambilobe clutch right now. I've always had all the eggs hatch within a couple of days. I don't have the eggs touching each other. This one clutch is hatching one every four or five days apart. It is very frustrating. Six have hatched so far and there are about ten to go. The age difference between clutch mates will be weeks maybe even a month at this rate! A watched egg will never hatch.....that's for sure. She needs a sweet name...........:)

Clingy is a cute name!

Or how about...
Banan : ba-NAHN : arabic "fingertips"
Hasna : has-NAH : arabic "beautiful"
Basimah : bah-ZEE-mah : arabic "smiling"
Thana : THAH-nah : arabic "gratitude"

ya ya yaaaaaaa.... Did you try asking the chms in the other egg's NICELY to come out? That was my girlfriends tip... She talks more to the damn reptiles than she talks to me... Not saying that is a bad thing mind you... :p ;)

Ill see what I can do, my daughters have been asking them since the first hatch... no go so far.

its not uncommon for zoologists to tag new borns to tell them apart of many species, as long as you are not causing harm or disruption from early life.

Since a chameleon is a rather tricky species to tag, the most successful method I've seen is a touch of colored finger nail polish on nails, you may not care, but it is an important thing none the less. The first borns are usually the strongest and ones you may want to consider keeping.

Shes eating!!!

Man been since the 16th and I haven't been able to see if she has been eating or not and tonight finally Ive seen her eat some gnats I caught.....shes eating and drinking and I'm happy!!

Ok out of 9 eggs, I am not the proud Step-papa pf 7 girls and 1 boy, 1 boy didn't make it... all of which are eating like champs on a diet of fruit flies and pin heads... got them a new setup , a exo-terra glass terrarium for the first couple of months and then we will go from there and see how many we have left... Of coarse Clingy and Bam will now be permanent residents of the house...i will show more pictures and stuff later, thanks everyone!

This is like Christmas for you, yeah? lol I find the tiny phoenix worms a great help in feeding my neonates protein and keeping bellies full of variety. They are easier to dust as well. Best to you and the lot! :D

I'm glad you kept the name Clingy for the first girl. So cute! Talking to the eggs does not seem to work, so now I am trying my telepathic powers. Next I will try a Vulcan mind meld :)
