Holy Cow!!

That spur is a tiiiiny bump on a newly hatched baby!
You'll be more confident about sexing once a few more hatch and
you can compare them. Then you'll be an expert!

Yeah i figured as well, I thought maybe it took a few days or so but I'm confident this one is a female... Hopefully Bam comes along..

Congratulations and wishing you a very happy birthday! Those pictures are fabulous. Nothing cuter than babies. I wish I knew what they were thinking when they first open their eyes and see the world. I bet the first thing you do when you wake up is go see if another baby is hatching. Maybe you will get another one for your birthday! And I like that tub set-up. It does look clean and simple and appropriate. That gets my vote....

Thank you. And thats basically what i built for them, I am using a Large dricket keeper right now... finally something to use this thing for... As little as she is she is displaying colors tremendously,we are having fun just watching her and waiting on new arrivals...

That, in my opinion, is a terrible idea.

No worries Brad went in to my daughters room and hooked up some polly pocket doll clothes and slapped a little pink hat on her.... she has ben tagged... and made to look perty....... haha j/k its not that important to me that i tag any of them really i just want them to be really healthy, this is fun... was hard to sleep last night.

Have you put the baby in a cage of some kind already?
If the sac is still hanging it could stick to a branch or even the floor of the cage and cause the chameleon some damage if it tries to pull away from it..

Whew. I had a real visual of that tiny cham wearing a little pink hat. My daughter is older now, but I sure fed my vacuum many polly pockets accessories. I wouldn't give your little girl any ideas, or you may find your chams completely outfitted one afternoon.

HAHAHA, Yeah No pink hats and no ideas thrown out yet, I do have one question, I put her in a cricket keeper with a pothos plant with damp paper towel on the bottom and mist it reg. i have the uvb bulb on her, but I am thinking i shouldn't have any basking yet correct? when do i introduce a basking light as well as supplementation? I need to find a good baby care book or something...she drinks very well, I haven't seen her eat yet which bothers me but dont they absorb th eegg sac for the first few days? I have some of the smallest dubia nymphs I could find in with her 2 actually and some gnats and baby flys. pinheads are on the way..

I think you're right Ren...I didn't provide a basking bulb till about 2 or 3 months old.
The babies get too hot with one.

Hope your little girl is doing well! We need a pic of here in her new house too. They don't eat for a couple of days. Hopefully she has started drinking. That's the first thing she needs to do. It's so stressful waiting to see them eat for the first time so that you know things are really ok. Are you getting anything done other than watching her? Any signs of siblings getting ready to hatch? Let us know all the details....

Im going crazy waiting for the rest to join us....I check 2 or 3 times a day and nothing so far... some eggs are so big they seem like they are ready to pop...she is drinking and has been since 5 min in her new cage. I got the smallest dubia nymph i could find and she went right after it, it was a bit big for her yet and she chewed off a few legs and ate that... so she is redy to eat, my pin heads couldnt get here quick enough....im frantically trying to find small enough insects for her to eat, my mother-in-law just called with a green worm on her broccoli and wanted to know if i wanted them, but i must research this first to see what the heck it is, she is bringing some over here shortly.... thanks for all the help everyone!

Still just one hatchling out of this clutch.... this seems weird to me but this is the first for me, anoyone else have this type of turnout??

If the eggs are not right tight together but rather spaced apart in the incubation container, then the babies hatch more individually than they would if they were close. However...this is better IMHO...just hard on the patience!

New baby pic

Also need a name for this little one, My girls have temp named it "Clingy"
