So, I was thinking about making my own cage for my cham but was wondering, what would you make the screening with.? Any ideas.? Anyone have tips if you have made your own.?

You can get aluminum screen from most home appliance stores.

Yeah, they sell the framing in like 11' strips, and the screen material comes in rolls. You can make all the sides and screw them together.

I didnt really watch this video, but there are plenty of vids on YT that show how to make the screen sides in any dimension you want. Its what I did, and it turned out alright. If you search on here there are TONS of ways to build a cage though, thats just one of many. FYI I built a 3'x3'x5' cage from materials at home depot, and it cost me about $70. My DIY 2x2x4 cage was $100 shipped.

Yes, I'm hoping on getting a new chameleon and instead of buying another cage I was really interested in just building one with my father. Seems cheaper, and a better bonding experience. So I just wanted to see what some people's ideas were.
