My Cham has been peeling for the last 4days he only has to finish peeling on his legs and tail now.

he is now eating the skin off his legs in the same way that he Catches his food.

is this normal?

Can i help in anyway?

I heard that chameleons sometimes do this to gain back calcium and minerals from their shed. I've only seen my crabs and crayfish do this though.

I have read about this in his forum when i find it again I will post a thread. But it is ok and a normal thing.

I saw my female doing that before. When I caught her doing it I just started giving her a nice long misting and she stopped.

Yea I would assume it's okay, I haven't seen my panther do it but my crested gecko eats his more times than not...

My Vieled Chameleon often does this. I read to expect it to happen. He doesn't eat a lot of it but he eats a little bit here and there.

During her last shed, Amy had shed all over her cage floor and I saw here actually go down to the bottom and zap bits with her tongue!:D I don't think that they eat shed in it's entirety like geckos do though.
