Hilarious Sleeping Position

So i'm sure that we all have seen our fair share of awkward chameleon sleeping positions.. well i just got into my room to find my girl, Carla, passed out like this...

She's not pregnant, she's pleasantly plump!

I don't think so...I see egg lumps. Hopefully you have a laying bin in there for her.

I would agree with you Eliza, but from prodding her stomach and many other things, i can tell you there is a small chance those are eggs. Since she was about 7 months she has at random times gotten those. I think it's just fat pushing with indents of ribs.

However, she is due for a vet checkup this month so she will be getting x-rays for post ovarian eggs.

And this is a picture from almost a year ago, same thing, however in the picture up top, she is sitting up so her belly is more pushed out on the bottom.

Mine do ....sometimes they go to their favourite sleep spot in plenty of time, and curl up comfy........other times they must lose track of time and get caught out by the light. I've seen my girl pause mid-step to shut her eyes when the light goes off..........

How old is she?

Is it possible she's had eggs and re-absorbed them?

That last question is not really directed at you, more to the experts. If she's displayed this periodically starting at 7 months, doesn't that seem like eggs?

You're risking eggbinding by not having a suitable container of washed playsand in her cage so she has somewhere to dig if she needs to.

it really does amaze me...the weird positions chams will fall asleep in lol. Mine looks so uncomfortable sometimes but than i realize he's passssed out haha

Seems like me, babysat on friday 5:30 to 11, then last night 5:00 to 1 am. I hyped her all up so shed be tired and she passed out on the couch, so I played on her ipad, next thing I know I wake up. In my own bed I wake up and have my legs behind my head, or in pretzel, it's weird... oh and the kid told me before she fell asleep she was "wasted", turns out she meant wasted of energy.
