hi guys scared for my cham help

My cham is laying low to the ground and crawling instead of walking, Hanging upside down, moving slower than usual, very weak grip kinda hiding behind the surrounding plants his colors are fine dont think hes pooped in a day or so.

Looks like a she to me. She probably needs to lay eggs. You probably need to set her up a laying bin.

I would have to agree! I am no expert, but he definitely looks like a she! A plump she at that. I would for sure get her an egg laying bin. Here's a blog on how to go about it by Jannb, incase you need some info.

Ok guys its the third day we've had the laying bin in our chams cage an she isnt feeling it all really shes been in the sand maybe 3 times hasnt tried to dig from what we saw is it like that sometimes?

So we have had our laying bin in for 3 days an our cham doesnt seem so fascinated by it im not aure she knows what to do.

Try putting a barrier around the enclosure like a shower curtain and give her complete privacy. So won't do her thing if she knows someone's watching. Is that just play sand? She may not like the texture...

Ya it is. Should we mix wit soil outside?

I wouldn't use soil from outside, but organic potting soil bought from satire should do the trick. Try 50/50 with the play sand and make sure it's moist so it will hold its shape when she digs

hey guys put organic soil an sand 50 50 mix for 3 days now an again my cham doesnt seem to like it at all she gets on but does nothing or just hangs over the pot

I'm not sure but that is definitely a bloated chameleon.

For my girl, I used plantation soil from Exo-terra, I tried regular top soil but she wasn't having any of that...she would dig and dig but just grow bored and manage her way up to the lowest branch. Anyway, it worked like a charm...Now I've got 52 eggs.
