Hello everyone! I'm glad I found this place because I need to learn allot very fast.
So yesterday, while at my friends house watching the Super Bowl, a man walked up to the tree in my friends backyard with a Jackson's chameleon. He said it was in the grass and he put it in the tree. Needless to say, the kids started freaking out and demanded someone get it out of the tree so they could keep it.
Now, my buddy had a Jackson's so I knew that this wouldn't work out well, so I told the mom that the chameleon was sure to die if they kept it(it was in a small bird cage with a dish of water). I told them I would keep it and promised the kids they could come see it later.
So it was in my house in the birdcage until just a bit ago when I got it into the new 24x24x48 cage I got. I was misting the leaves since I had it. I put it in the new cage with a handful of crickets that I dusted with calcium. But he won't move and hasn't ate one cricket yet. I know he hasn't ate for at least two days. I'm worried he doesn't have enough energy to eat. What should I do?
I know the last part of this could be in another part of the forums but I'm making this thread now so what the hay.
Thanks for any help or advice!
