Hey USA Who's Voting... not political

Does this mean that since I voted, I have the right to whine for 4 years (based on the way this election is unfortunately going to probably go)?

Yes... You voted for whom you wanted and I voted for who I wanted, we had a say in the whole thing, even if it was ever so small. People who don’t vote and say “x” sucks, I would have rather seen “x” win, “x” could have done a better job. If “x” would have been in office then we would not be in a recession or my house would have not been foreclosed on. ECT, ECT, ECT. Voting has given you the right to say all of the above.

If you don’t vote and you have the right to do so, you then don’t have the right to say jack $h^t; keep your mouth closed till the next time... Work out a little bit so you can have the energy to fill out a piece of paper and maybe do a little standing in line. Excuses are lame, if you put forth even a small amount of effort you can have your say.

There's a political thread going on at Kingsnake.com if anyone is interested. It appears that Kingsnake has endorsed Obama. Personally I think it's a joke that someone like Kingsnake, having nothing to do with politics, would endorse someone; all it does is piss off half or more of his users. When one considers the potential power of a democratic president, senate and congress combined with liberal organizations that fight all of our favorite hobby (PETA, Sierra Club, Greenpeace etc), we might all be keeping pet goldfish in the coming years.

I'm just wondering why you think kingsnake endorses Obama? I go there almost everyday and haven't seen any political ads whatsoever.

There are several board I read/post on, and this is the ONLY one that was NOT ruined by a bunch of political posts/bickering, and I just wanna say thanks to you guys for keeping this place clear of all that throughout the process of this election.

Well everyone America just happened.!!!

Whether everything went your way or not, possibly a mix of it.

Yesterday was what our great country is about.

Thanks for voting

I always vote with an absentee ballot. No lines and I get time to look up referendums to see if yes means no or no means yes.

We do the same. And, yes, you've really got to read the fine print on those referendoms and initiatives.

Royden- I think beginning next year absentee ballot voting will be mandatory in your county.

Really?! probably a good idea for the reason of taking time and doing your homework.

I always like walking to the polls, voting, walking home. Makes me feel like I'm participating more.

What kind of lines?

Your very welcome I was a part of the 1/3 of OC residents who actually voted... My line was SHORT! I had some cutie infront of me wearing a pink tanktop... I think there might have been a couple of other people infront of her but I didn't take notice.:cool:;):p:D:D:D
