Hey name is John got a Veiled Chameleon his name is Cali got it about three weeks ago i dont know exactly how old it is i do believe its a male has the little spurs on the back of his feet if anyone wants to let me know how old they might think he is that be awesome. Also want to hear about the recommended diet for this lil guy.

You setup looks nice. I'm sure he loves all that foliage. I do have one question - is that a glass terrarium? It sort of looks like an aquarium from the picture, but it's hard to tell for sure. Terrariums with proper ventilation are fine for chameleons, but an aquarium is not a good idea due to its lack of proper airflow.

And it is a terrarium with proper ventilation Gets kinda cold in washington and i like to keep the humidity and temp stable and as bipolar as the weather is here with the changing of the seasons it helps.

well if you keep him in a different room other then your bed room do as i do in the cold times seeing i'm almost as far up northwest as you i set the temps to 75 degrees and let the heat stay that way till it warms up. I'm from eugene oregon so i know all about that liquid sunshine. I use screen cages and trust me when you can invest or make a 2-2-4 foot cage do so i got two male veileds and they are big boys. any more questions just ask!!! also get ready these guys out of all my chams in my experience grow wickedly wild fast!!!
