Hey guys need an opinion?

good job archer. that's a really good improvement from when you first got him. yay!!!

thank you very much, rottsko. he's been growing like mad and has seems healthy other than this possible case of edema, but I'm hoping that if i stay on top of it and keep a close eye hopefully hell get past it..

With your help he will. I'd like to also thank you for your service to our country, give my regards to your mother, I trust Pam is well?

I cannot say for sure what will happen with your chameleon in the future. With mine, I will say yes it is kinda chronic it seems but he had the condition for so long also before anything was ever done to help it Hopefully your guy will grow out of it with your care and being young and all.

It helps to think about it as a chronic issue your particular cham just happens to have. It could be a sensitivity to one particular nutrient but which one may never be clear. Maybe there's some sort of congenital organ weakness. Who knows. Manage it over time, not as a crisis each day. You'll get to know him and what seems to ease or irritate it. Edema in itself is a symptom of some metabolic glitch, not a disease in itself. You can't really ignore it because the collected fluid can become a source of infection (or so I've been told).

Fair enough, poor little guy. And im definatly not gonna ignor it beleive me not a minute goes by that i dont think about him, i guess as for now ill just have to keep a super close watch, n try n see if there are any triggers or things that ease it.
