Hey all,

New to the forum as of today, joining so I can experience keeping (vicariously just to be clear ;) ) a very nice rare chameleon with one of my Rhacodactylus breeder friends.

I love chameleons and plan to own some once I have a stable place to live after I finish Grad School.

Thanks!

Welcome! This is the place to learn...read all threads. Keep an open mind (because there are often conflicting ideas) and then decide the best path for you.

Welcome to the forum!!

This is such a great place to learn, meet chameleon people and lose track of time :D;)

Thanks! Objectivity is my goal in life, it's good to see people who try to keep an open mind too :)

What kind of chameleon is it?

Heh heh heh wouldn't you like to know... Jk it's a Parsons. Aka the holy grail. Clean bill of health (with paperwork to prove it), male, just over a year old, about 180 grams, eating well. He may be in over his head as far as time commitment, but we'll see. He takes VERY good care of his animals, especially his Rhacodactylus geckos.

Thanks! It's a yellow cream crested gecko's eye. Same gecko made the cover on a recent journal our lab published in...

I love the cover shot of your gecko, it sort of glows. Welcome to the forum. But I have already told everyone on here, all you guys with the cool gecko's are killing me. I just can't get any more reptiles!!!

However I am still happy you joined.:)

I know what you mean! I literally cannot fit anything else into my dorm room closet, take a look. The cages on the bottom right are 66 quart sterilite tubs stacked 3 high...
