Hey guys. I just registered on here. So you guessed it I'm a newbie... So ill just let you know a little about me really quick. My name is Chris , I am 30 years old and married to an awesome woman for a year and half now, she is the love of my life, we live in Indiana. We both are animal lover's. And pretty much have a zoo at our house..its kinda like an addiction or something I don't know. But let's see we have 2 hedgehogs, 2 chinchillas, 3 Russian Tortoises, 7 sugargliders, a couple saltwater aquariums and 2 dogs. Not including a few farm animals we have and will be acquiring soon. So why am I here. Well I've wanted a pair of chameleons for the past 4 years now and the time has come finally to get a pair. About a year and half ago my wife bought me a couple cages and a bunch of other equipment for chameleons, stuff to raise crickets and whatnots. From some small chameleon breeder. Soo all that stuff has been setting out in the barn ever since and yesterday I told her now is the time. (Just to let you know I am not an impulse buyer, I'm more of a research junkie) . My first breed of choice is the Jackson's I just think they look awesome, then after a while I might look into getting a pair of Panthers too. Well thanx for letting me ramble on. Looking forward to speaking / getting to know everyone. And picking y'alls brain.

Hello Chris and welcome to the forums!!! Lots of Jackson owners on here and even more panther owners, so you have come to the right place to learn!! I am attaching a link for your from one of our members who is experienced with Jackson chameleons. It should answer most of your questions, but if not please don't be shy about asking any of us.

Welcome to the forums! Sounds like you've got your own personal zoo! (I'm jealous) Lots of great keepers here and tons of information. :D We love to help and love lots of pictures!!! ;) Can't wait to see your setup and new additions! Lots of great site sponsors and breeders for all your chaming needs!

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yea its nice to pretty much have your own personal zoo at home. But its also kinda hectic some times. Everyone has their own special needs that needs met, plus giving each of them a little attention. Not to mention the space lol. It's all worth it though. Expecially when you walk up to everyone and they come up front and center to greet you. And wanting to jump intoour arms or a few cases on your head when you open their doors.. I have now also acquired 4 poison dart frogs this weekend to add to my zoo. Went to the Midwest reptile show in Indianapolis Indiana. In search of Jackson's and ended up comming home with for dart frogs... But again thanks for the warm welcomes
