I have a 8month old female veiled chameleon named Jewel. She eats about 11 mealworms with me giving her 6 around noon and than again after work. She loves them so I try to keep them for treats and only when I approach the cage. She seems unsure of me still? She eats a small handful of Kale fresh a day.
I am rambling but I am hoping this is all sounding right??
Now how often should I do calcium or vitamins?
I will show a picture of Jewel and her set up.
Sorry for the side-ways picture
Her age I am still trying to figure out. Pet store said 8months she looks about 5months to me? Help?

Things I would do :

1) Get rid of substrate at the bottom

2) Get rid of water bowl, unless she is drinking from it on the reg, and even then clean it every day and I would still mist 2-5 times a day

3) Meal worms are very hard on a chameleon, from what I hear due to the hard shell causing impaction, I would either use dubai or crickets as a staple feeder dusted every day with calc with no d3, and twice a month with a multivit and
calc with d3

4) Also I would get a screen cage if all possible

I took out the water bowl. One gets kale put in it and the other worms. Temp. is 80 and humidity is about 70 to 80 everyday. I am working on getting her a screen cage that will be her lifetime cage soon. The little laying bin has worked she has explored it some even digged in it some. She just ate most her kale too....She has not layed any eggs but it seems she understands it?
