Here is my new baby from Kammerflage Kreations! He's an Ambanja, sire is Tar-Aldarion and he is gorgeous! When I opened the box he was so active and wanted OUT! I tried to just put the container in the bottom of the cage to let him come out slowly but the minute there was a gap in the lid he hurdled over my hand and into the cover of the branches. Thankfully I opened it IN the cage. I can not wait to see him grow!!!

Here he is in his new home as well as a picture of his Daddy.....

Haha...unfortunately I have a webinar later today. But that should only take an hour ;)
He's already taken a dubia from my hand! And that's huge since he's unfamiliar with them!! I don't know why I tried, I usually leave them alone for the first few days but I couldn't resist trying!

Amazing colors! Can't wait for mine, have to get my work schedule switched around so I can be off on a mon-tues-wed.

Good luck! I had mine held at the Fedex facility and I went and picked him up this morning when they opened. It's too hot for him to have been in the truck all day.

Sometimes there is just those chameleons that take to you right away. I have had certain ones that have taken months and one that took 4 days. lol Strange creatures.

I got him to take another dubia from my hand this morning! Yay!

Thinking of naming him Mugato.

Also, I was wondering of anyone had any thoughts on whether the time change would be affecting him? CA is 2 hours behind us and when I got him I didn't even consider the time difference and just set him up with an 8-8 schedule but that would be waking him 2 hours earlier than he was used to. Last night he kinda "put himself to bed" at about 6:30. He went deep in the cover and curled up. He wasn't "out" as he kept his eyes half open but he was definitely there for the night. He was active all day, really exploring his enclosure up until that point. Should I have thought this through more and just changed him a 1/2 at a time to get him on our time zone or will he adjust?
