Herpistat 1 issue

Hi all of a sudden my relatively new herpistat is not raising to temperature. Everything is the same except had to change the lightbulb and its generally cooler in the house. I have used a 60 W incandescent lightbulb which has been fine. I keep etosha at 79 degrees and it is only registering around 77 and bulb seems a bit dimmed. Anyone else see this? Thanks

Are you using the same type of bulb as before?

Yes but i moved up to a 75w and i.think.its seasonal. The house is cooler so.60w didn't do.it.

I hate to ask, but are you sure the new bulb is an incandescent and not an LED bulb? I was recently bulb shopping and had to thoroughly search and read the boxes very carefully to make sure I was getting the right ones.

Yes definitely. I ordered them as in.california they are not allowed but ggod call
