Here are my Veileds

I picked them up on Sunday Female still not happy.

He is showing better colors now, pic was taken shortly after I got him.

She still hasn't settled I figure it will take a while since she is older.

I should also add the temp strip you see came with the set up , I have digital thermometers just didn't remove the strips yet.

Congrats on your new veileds and thanks for sharing your pics. It will take them awhile to settle in. Do you ever allow them to come out of the cage? They may color up better in not caged.

The male loves to be out colors up real nice. Female hisses if I get to close ,I think she needs more time to settle.

Sometimes, some veileds just don't like to be messed with. I'm lucky because I have two very nice ones.

I would get real plans for veilds. They munch on it, and if your unlucky they will start to munch off pieces of plastic which can eventually get stuck in your chams

Very nice healthy looking chams. Give them a few days and they will settle in I am sure.

Planed on getting some real plants. Hubby is going to build better cages for them when he does he will add hoops to set plants in and stronger bottom for trees. I got them with their cages and stuff, had to pick up proper equipment for them as lights and thermometers were inadequate.
I'm giving the female a lot of time to settle don't want to stress her too much.

I wish I could explain his plans but they confuse me. Plus he never draws any thing out ,has a vision in his head and just builds. I am very lucky as he has talent when it comes to building stuff. He has never disappointed anyone. When he starts the build I will take pics at each stage, it might be hard though cause he is the type that starts in the morning and won't stop till it's done.
