Helpful Guide for Live Plants

I don't pretend to be a scientist but as far as I understand it doesn't necessarily follow that a plant harmful to humans would also be harmful to chameleons.

Multiple varieties of Ficus as well as Pothos, which appear to be amongst the most popular plants for chameleon enclosures are listed as toxic on this site. The Pothos appears to be quite toxic whereas Ficus evokes more subtle reactions in some humans.

Pothos is def not toxic. Tons of chams eat pothos including mine. That first website is either incorrect or its referring to toxicity in humans.

That first website is referring to humans, however I have never seen anywhere that pothos is toxic to anyone. I just go by the list here and the one flchams has is good also. If all else fails google :)

I came across this guide of toxic and non toxic plants with their clinical signs:
Should be helpful, I learned alot

Toxic Plants[ and Non Toxic Plants

Many listed on this site as Toxic are listed many other places as non toxic such as this site http://www.geocities.com/chameleoncreatures/nontoxicplants.html

Both ficus plants on the first site is listed as toxic - one clinical sign as asthma. I am an asthmatic and my house is full of ficus, last count over 15 large ficus and I've not yet experienced any increase in attacks since having them in my house over the years.
