Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

My male is taking a nap during the day I woke him up and he looked at me and went back to napping. He’s been drinking and is hydrated, but he hasn’t eaten much in the past couple days. If anyone can think of something I am doing wrong please let me know. I would be devastated if I lost my bestfriend.

I'm sorry you're having problems. Can we see a picture of the cage? Also, I might be crazy, but I wouldn't wake him up just to wake him up. I would try to do something beneficial for him that happens to wake him up (like give him a shower or put a new feeder in).

As much as you don't want him to be asleep during the day, the fact that he is means he needs that sleep because there is a problem. If you wake him up just to make yourself feel better then he's likely to get worse faster.

It was just to see if he was just resting his eyes or if he was asleep, and he just looked at me like, WTF man... And went back to his nap. Ill give him a shower when I get back home, he usually doesn't like it to much should I just leave him be and not have him exert that energy trying to escape the shower tree? Do you think he could just be tired from his light schedule being to long and being disturbed last night for a few minutes? Maybe stress? so confused, just a worried father..

I have to think your lighting schedule is good. Mimicking the natural sunrise, sunset is brilliant.

I would put him in the shower and ignore his protests. They often protest "a bit too much"....they really want it and they'll give in to the happiness in time.
