Hi all...long time reader, first post

Heres my story
I got interested in chams about 2 years ago, started reading and educating myself on everything cham related and decided to give it a try. Found out what kind of cham to get, built a cage, bought plants etc etc and had everything ready. Then I started looking for the cham, called all the petshops around, wrote emails to some cham specialized stores and found nothing. The problem is that Im in Puerto Rico and cant find someone who will ship to here. After some months of looking around I found a petshop that had some wild caught senegals, but thats definetly not what I want. So I gave up on the idea, but never stopped thinking about it....

Two years gone by and I started looking again, wrote emails to 2 cham suppliers and got same response, no shipping to PR.

Im in love with this creatures and envy all of you with access to this beautiful animals....Im ready to have one.
So if anyone can help get me a cham I will forever be grateful.

Yea, I was gonna say that to PR shouldnt be a CITIES problem. But its an Island and they may have rules against "invasive" species like Hawaii has.

Check with local laws, I'm sure there's a reason you can't find chams in PR. If it's legal, I'm sure you would have luck in having someone in FL send a medium Priority box over to you. It would more than likely get there in one day, and temps. will turn a little more mild in a few more months down in PR.

Shipping to PR may be considered domestic, but it is any thing but simple. I used to supply a company there parts for their phone system and if a period was missing on my paper work or theirs the shipment was held. I can't imagine live animal shipments being anything less than complicated.

You can try PMing Jim from chameleon company. I know he ships international, so may be willing to work with you.
