I'm getting a veiled chameleon in about a year and i need people's opinion

Is it okay for me to have 2 seperate enclosures for it?

Food options to give it??

I am curious about why you’d have two separate enclosures. Do you split your time between homes? If so and you’re spending considerable time at each with no one to care for a chameleon at either, yes, it should be fine IMO.
Here’s the feeder graphic. Variety is key and it’s good to offer a few different staples. Also giving you the gutload graphic as you’ll need to care for your bugs well and keep them healthy, so that they’ll be more nutritious.
The forum is a great place to ask questions, get advice and just share your progress. Very happy that you’ve started here.

It's good that you're doing your homework now—Kudos!
We get all too many folks who come here after taking the plunge, or getting a chameleon on impulse, having no idea what's involved in their proper housing & care.

I agree with MissSkittles about Chameleon Academy, but since you have the time, I'd suggest perusing the entire site. Then if you have any questions about what you've learned/read, come back here and ask.

Two enclosures can be done, but there are some caveats, like distance, time of year, transportation, etc. For example, driving across town at the beginning & end of a school year is much more doable than across the country—AFAIK, airlines won't allow chameleons.

Something many folks don't realize is that they'll need to learn a bit of botany, as chameleons—especially veileds—need live plants & vines.

It depends on several things. How will you be splitting the time between each home? Is there anyone at one of the homes that would be able to care for your chameleon while you are gone?

i will be spending 2 weeks at each homes and no on will be there to take care of him/her.
