I have a female panther who laid a clutch about 2 weeks ago. She was not bred and had 36 eggs. Today she is digging again. I'm not sure what is going on so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

- Your Chameleon - Female Panther. How long has it been in your care - 15 months?
- Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? -- She is handled several times a week.
- Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? - Feed crickets, hornworms, superworms, meal worms, dubia roaches. crickets and dubia roaches are raised by me and are all gutloaded. What amount? - approximatly 5-10 crickets (depending on size), 1 - 5 dubias depending on size. Same with worms. What is the schedule? generally fed every other day. How are you gut-loading your feeders? - Gutload with fresh veggies and/or Cricket food from Josh's frogs
- Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? - Reptical for all suppliments. Multivitamin every feeding. Calcium w/o d3 every other feeding. Calcium w/ d3 2x a mo.
- Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? - mist king set to mist 3x a day. in morning for 2 mins, afternoon 30 seconds, 1.5 mins before lights out. Also have drippers and foggers to keep humidity levels above 50%. Do you see your chameleon drinking? Yes
- Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? - normal size and consistency and color. orangeish to white urates.
- History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. - She has laid several non-fertilized clutches without issues
- Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? - Reptibreeze Screen 18x18x36 enclosure with two sides blocked with acrylic panels to keep water leaking and other chams. Bioactive enclosure.
- Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? - T5 HO 12" RepitSun or Arcadia
- Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? - 90 at the highest level and 74 at the lowest level Lowest overnight temp? 74-78 at night How do you measure these temps? temp gun and thermostats
- Humidity - What are your humidity levels? Between 50 - 80% How are you creating and maintaining these levels? Misting 3x per day scheduled mistking. occasional hand misting when watering plants and soil. foggers run every hour for 30 to 60 mins depending on humidity levels. What do you use to measure humidity? Hydrometers
- Plants - Are you using live plants? Live plants only. Shefflera, various pothos If so, what kind?
- Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? - All enclosures are in upstairs. low to light traffic. no fans on. air vents open slightly. temp setting at 74 or higher. cages are on top of heavy duty shop shelves about 3 ft off ground. top of cage is about 10' from floor.
