I as a totally ignorant dude who has read and studied the keeping of Yemen chame now is the time to listen to good advice on temp, humidity, can you have automated misting on at night ? This is a big question, so here it’ is?
Advice please
Oscars house
Retibreeze 45x45x96 viv
Bio substrate planted 4 plants
Springtails, 3x isopod
Monsoon solo set at 30 secs 10 mins after lights am on and 10 mins before lights out, lights on for 13 hours
Humidity 50/70 all the time
Lights 100 basking , exoterra uvb ( I think it is aT8 ? )
Suffers from low temps ?
Typical temps day 60 f sometimes 70f
Night minus 10f from above
This measured at a point 200mm from top at back also position of humidity sensor.
Anyway all food for thought hope you help as only fools do not profit from advice
Picking up Oscar in 3 weeks so hopefully some good advice will make his transition to his new home unstressed.
Thanks Oscars Dude

Don't mist during the nights as the cage won't get a chance to dry out.
Best to stop misting like 2 hours before lights off, depending on how fast the enclosure dries out.

Lights on/off 12/12hours.
And 1 minute of misting a day total(if i understand correctly) will not nearly be enough, in mesh like 3 x 3mins would be ok for a veiled chameleon.
