Help?

I'm going to try to explain this as clear as possible:
First I should say Tony has just been to the vet and was awarded a clean bill of health. Both yesterday and today his poop was nice and healthy. His lungs good. No shaky limbs. I believe he is about to go through a shed. I believe he turned a year in September or October, I got him in January.
My issue:
The last couple of days (maybe two) I have noticed that when I walk into the room he's in I've seen him at the front of his cage with his back leg looking liking it is trying to grab onto his front. However he'll keep the front one up and out of the way so he can't grab himself. I attributed this to his plant leaves being in the way of his walking sticks so I moved some of the leaves/branches out of he way so he might have more of a clear path. But then again today just now I saw him doing the same thing with his front arm still lifted so his back leg won't grab itself. It sort of looks like he was trying to get off shed but he's not shedding. And this time when I was observing him he grabbed the side of his self and held on for a second but let go immediately when I opened his cage door. His grip in all of his limbs seem strong, the vet even said so himself. Currently he's on a hunger strike, not out of illness but out of stubbornness, he only wants to eat worms (this is my fault though sometimes I go over board with the worms).
I originally thought he could be stressed out because now when I put him back in his enclosure he'll puff up for a little bit but then calm down but then maybe will puff up again if he sees me near his cage and wants to come out but I won't let him out (that makes him angry) . I thought the stress was from the beardies who he never seemed to have a problem with, but have recently being growing in size. So I put a pillow case over one side of his enclosure (the side they are housed on) just in case.
I'm sort of at my wits end in worry, but I thought maybe you guys would know something about this? Also sorry if this was more a general topic and not a health one.
Thanks.

Grabbing front legs with rear legs can be a sign of Metabolic Bone Disease. When is the last time you changed out your uvb light? What is you supplementation schedule? can you post pics of him and the set up he is in?

But he never actually grabs them. He lifts his arm up so he won't grab himself. (I'm not trying to be argumentative I just want tomake sure I paint the clearest picture possible.) And when he did it today it was his side (which I know still isn't good). Also he doesn't do it often just once throughout the day from these last few days that I've seen it. Well I have four sets: Two I switched out in the summer July I believe, and the other two in spring so it would be about to be coming up to the six months if I'm not mistaken. As far as dusting goes I dust his food with calcium every day, calcium with d3 twice a month and multivitamins twice a month. Also I use a 5.0 bulb. (The pictures are from last week on Saturday at the vet.) I'll try to get a more recent one.

He looks healthy to me and since he's just been to the vet I would maybe think he has just strained a muscle or has taken a fall and is hurt or something.

If you can get a video or photo when he's doing it that would help a lot.

The next time I catch him doing it I will try to take a video of it.

Hey so idk if anyone is still following this thread but I finally got a video though not a very good one because the side of his cage has a cloth over it so he can't see the beardies. It looks like he's reaching for his hand but as I said he keeps his hand out of the way. Sometimes it looks like he's trying to scratch his side or pull she's off though he is t shedding just ashy. Again I don't see him doing this all the time. Just enough.
