Help!!

I just got my new baby veiled chameleon a little over a week ago. He is around 3 weeks old. He is showing the beginning symtoms of a URI and I am unsure if I should take him to the vet. He is still eating normally. I am just unsure if they would even treat him since he is so young. Advice?

Yes, he can be treated and if he does indeed have a respiratory infection, he will need an antibiotic. What makes you certain he has one? My panther had a parasite called Coccidia when he was only 6 grams in weight. I treated him and he survived and now weighs 112 grams. It is not the easiest getting meds into one so tiny, but it can be done.

He keeps expanding his lungs really big and he has been making a clicking noise when he breathes.

Get him to a vet asap.
