Please help sick chameleon

So I have a chameleon who suddenly came down with mbd
He will not drink not eat unless it's by force... We recently bought him liquid calcium, hopefully to save his life, but when we gave it to him, his nose started to feel with liquid! He literally passed out for a few minutes, I thought he died because he turned black and looked so lifless
But he is now awake again and I have him under a UVB light, but I am terrified to give him more calcium. Anyone have any suggestions?

How did you give him the calcium...all at once by shooting it into his mouth?

Not all at once, just little drops at a time. Maybe he wasn't swallowing it?

You can try watering it down and giving him less at a time or get a vet to give him an injection of calcium to get him started. Can you post a recent photo of him please?

How long have you had your chameleon? The don't just come down with MBD suddenly. It is a process over time caused by a lack of calcium and or uvb.
