I would say he scraped it on a branch or something... Probably just fine... Just keep an eye to see if it gets worse!!! Also it might be a very minor burn. I would say its okay.
The picture is not that clear, but it looks like shedding that still stuck to the skin. I would up and prolong his watering times and see if that works.
