Help with Supplementation

The guy at LLLReptile said that they give their baby chameleons Rep-Cal with Vit. D3 and Reptivite combined with it three times a week. Should I do that?
I have both of those already,

I'm just waiting for the chameleon in the mail. (It's gonna be shipped Monday and arrive Tuesday)

He says that the baby chameleons are fed about 5-10 1/8 inch crickets a day, but if I get a bigger size, how many should I feed him?

Thanks, Dominic :)

Nope.

You should have a UVB light and they will produce enough D3 naturally from exposure to the UVB. D3 is used lightly maybe once a week during the first few months to help with rapid growth, but 1-2 times a month after that. At the very most, once a week very lightly.

Multivitamin is okay once a week for growing babies, but at 4-6 months (depending on growth rate...they all grow at different speeds), you want to reduce it to once or twice a month.

How old is the cham exactly? My guys eat 2 week old crickets when they are 2-4 months old. After that they get 3 week size until about 6 months. Then they are ready for 4 week. 4week is what I give my adults because 5week crickets CHIRP!

You wanna use calcium lightly at every feeding. Multivitamin VERY lightly once a week. d3 VERY VERY lightly once a week.

As an adult, you want to use calcium lightly at every feeding, multivitamin VERY lightly every two weeks. d3 very lightly once a week.

lightly=all feeders dusted lightly
very lightly= 25% of feeders dusted
very very lightly=one or two feeders dusted (but make sure he eats them)

You will find a million variations that people do. The key is not to overdo it, and not underdo it. With that in mind, do what works for you. What the LLL guy suggested is severely overdoing it.

It's gonna be a 1.5 to 2 month Male Baby (3"-4")
