Help with new baby veiled!!!

Hey!
So we brought home our 5 week(or so) old male veiled chammy yesterday! Super excited, we got him set up in his Reptibreeze chameleon kit, it's about 16"x16"x30". Turned on both lights, got his sticks and bushes all cozy in there, got the temp hovering around 72f and threw in a generous handful of crickets that had been munching on apples and were dusted in repticalcium (without D3). We shut him down for the night around 9, which is a little later than when we will be turning the lights off, and started him up at about 8 this morning. His cage temp dropped to about 68 overnight, and the humidity dropped from 50% to 40%. (Installing the mister today, I've just been spraying manually because I haven't gotten the wedge piece). He's been sprayed and is back up to temp.
I'm a first timer. I'm not totally sure what to expect. We've been leaving the little dude alone so he can adjust to this big change from the aquarium.
But he doesn't seem interested in his food, or even coming out from under the leaves. He was all over the place yesterday, checking out his new digs. I guess I just want to make sure my new buddy is okay ... Is he just shy in this new place? When should I worry about him not eating?
Thanks in advance to all!

There should be an area of the cage that is in the low 80'sF so it can warm up. They won't eat if they aren't warm enough. Appropriate temperatures are needed for proper digestion. That could be part of the problem.
