Help with MistKing Reservoir

Hey guys I've been trying to setup my MistKing system but I didn't receive the rubber ring. Do You think it's possible that I can "hot glue" the outside of the bolt? I'm trying to stop the leaking. Please keep in mind that it's the Reservoir and he will be drinking from this water.

I don't think you'll have a problem if you use some teflon tape and screw it down firmly. Hot glue would be a last resort type of option.

why not just go to the hardware store, spend $.25 and get an o-ring?

That's what we just did. But they didn't have the size so we had to get a variety pack. Thanks though!

I drilled two 1/4 inch holes into the top side of my 20 gallon Rubbermaid tub, and with 1/4 inch hose it doesn't leak. I pushed the hoses through so they rest on the bottom of the tub, so the only time they are under water is if I overfill.
