Help with Information on Shedding

I am wanting to get a veiled chameleon and want to know a little more about chameleon shedding. For one, do you have to help them shed off their skin? I know that extra skin left can pose certain threats, but do you need to help it remove its skin or is it just a natural process. I know you probably think I am an idiot but I have never had a chameleon before and want to do as much reasearch as possible before buying one.

No you never remove any of the shed. You let it fall off on its own. you can mist your chameleon with warm water to help loosen the shed.
