hi i want to get a misting system for my veiled chameleon but i'm not sure which one i want to get because there is quite a few on the market i'm overwhelmed with choice :). please help

Some of the most popular ones on the forum are Aqua Zamp and MistKing, both of which are forum sponsors. I would do a forum search for each of these, visit their websites, and decide which is best for you. I personally love my Mistking. :)

Welcome to the forum!!! As said the mistking and aquazamp are the best systems to date. I love all three of my mistking setups :D

AquaZamp is a system comprised of components that are made in the USA. The components are NSF certified and pressure rated. The NSF certification identifies the components as food grade quality. The pressure rating means you won't have fittings and tubing separating and cause spills or leaks.

Be a job creator, buy American. :)

I hear ya i just broke my second misting bottle lol, and not to jack your thread but...My main questions would be how quiet are they cause i tried the ZooMed Habba Mist and boy that got returned within hours total waste of time...Other question would be should I use a dome or go nozzle, And my guess would be the dome cause it has a nozzle either way and could take it out? And whom has some discounts going :D

I have a mistking and love it! I do NOT recommend Monsoon systems. Too many issues with timer, etc. Mistking and Aqua Zamp are much better and for the same or less money!

Anyone know the size of the standard rain dome from Aquazamp looks to me like 12x12 thinking of getting that kit

The standard RainDome is 6"x6" and uses one nozzle. The LowProfile RainDome is 4.5"x12.5" and under 5" tall and has two nozzles. I have other sizes if you'd like to hear more about them.

Well would you recommend the dome over just the nozzle for my veiled cage is only 18x18x36...Also how loud is the pump db wise, I watched a youtube demo of it and noticed the bucket moving when the pump runs is that normal or a fixed problem?

Even with the mist king you will have to fasten the tubes so they don't rattle when it operates. The pumps are powerful, but after you secure them (clips are available to order) you will not notice the pump, but the sound of the mist nozzle itself (a soft hissing sound). Just make sure to purge the lines to get all air out so you don't have a loud gurgle during operation!

I saw my Boy drink for the first time in 6 months after i timed my raindome to go off at 7am!

I do not have a db meter so I can't give you an accurate number on how loud it is. But I can say it is hardly noticeable, the sound from the pump or the RainDomes.

As for the shaking. The AquaZamp pump has a platic spring like mounting bracket that allows the pump to move freely in suspense. The bracket is designed to absorb the vibrations from the pump. This does translate to some movement but the reservoir won't 'walk' anywhere, it isn't that much shaking. The reservoir is very stable. So the shaking is a problem.

The LowProfile RainDome will fit on top of your cage just fine. I can post photos of the LowProfile RainDome on the top of cages as soon as I get a chance.

The air has a lot to do with tubes shaking as well. Purging the air eliminates the tube slapping some people encounter.

Aquazamp systems come with the tube clips, both express and premium systems.
