Help with baby veild

I got him or her about 3 weeks ago. I had him in a glass cage with no uvb well a dessert fixture uvb 5.0 i dont know if it matters? But he was always cool with me pickin him up no i had a screen cage for him everytime i go in there to handle him he charges for me. what should i do anyone help? hes eating realy good aswell just dont want this to be an ongoing thing

I will not be repetitive here. So read Jann's blog and it will tell you what you need to know. Just wanted to say if you do not know if it is a male or female...the way to tell is check the back feet. On the heel of the back feet, if there is a little like spur stickingo out then you have a boy. If you have a girl then you also have to worry about egg laying, as females can lay without being mated. You won't have to worry about it if you have a baby, but from about 6 months on or so you will. We can instruct you what to do if you figure out it is a female and she is of egg laying maturity.
