Help strange line in tail. Could it be an infection?

Mi cham was not eating as always. so i check on him and found this.

What can that be? He has been with me for a couple of years don't want to lose him.
 
Could be, or could be the temps right now. If it's cooler than it usually is he may be slowing down a little due to the season.
 
Those are sort of pore-like things that males have. Totally normal. They seem to get more noticeable as they mature.

Yeah, it's like femoral or pre anal pores on many other lizards. Some individual panthers they are really noticible.

I've kept species of lizard that even have them on their feet (tribolonotus) or belly button area (painted agama).

I once read that scientists think that the waxy secretions from these pores leave markings behind when brushed against surfaces that are visible to lizard vision (lizards see color spectrum that we cannot), and perhaps they can smell them too. Marking territory. Invisible and odorless to us humans...
