So a while ago I ordered some p Nivea. The person who shipped send them with wall isolation wool glass fiber. This can be deadly if eaten or get into the animals. I got rid of the package but the selve I had put it on and opened on got some of the wool glasfiber on it. the sleeve is made of wood. So it's kinda rough surface. I try to whipe it with a sponge and alcohol but I don't think it's free from residues of the glass fiber.

I am thinking about wipe it with fiber cloth and then use those rolls you use to clean cat hair of clothes.

The thing is that I use that selve rack for my terrarium and feeders. Top selve for one terrarium. Middle is the one that got the glass fiber and bottom is the one that I keep my feeders.

Is anyone that has work in construction that knows how to properly remove all glasfiber wool of of surface like wood?

Hi,

I used to be a professional industrial painter. To remove the shards you can use a vacuum to lightly run over the surface. Then use a really sticky tape, like gorilla tape, and use it to lift off the shards. If that doesn't work it's best to sand it with a vacuum going next to where you're sanding to collect the dust.

If you rub it aggressively it will embed the shards deeper into the wood, making it harder to get out.
