I was feeding Jones (my cham.) And forgot to put the lid on and i can't find him anywhere  I checked wires drapes anywhere warm nothing what should I do please help me!!! I just recently got him too this sucks is there any way to lure him?

Thanks -Tim

Just keep looking. Remember that chams like to be the highest thing, so check the tops of trees, plants, drapes, curtains. Once it is late enough and he is sleeping, you can use a flashlight to look for him. They are easier to spot with a flashlight at night while they sleep. Believe it or not, there are A LOT of people on here that have lost their chams for varying lengths of time.

Good luck, I hope you find him soon.

Would he possibly go into the dark vent? It's warm and there is no cover...

Unlikely - they usually go toward high ground - follow wires up -usually they will only use the floor if they see it as a way to get somewhere where they can climb higher. If it's toward when he would be going to sleep he wouldn't be too worried about heat - they sometime look for a cooler spot to sleep in -

How big an area do you have to locate him in? I have had the joy of finding a cham in a really large area of my home. We did it but it sure takes a while. How old and how big is your cham?

Do you have your christmas tree still set up?, look for him on your window curtains or blinds if you have them, tables or couches, bathroom on cabinets or closets, you will find it

The vent gets cold if the air is not on

My closet is completely blocked off looked under my bed and behind dressers and nothing

Oh good! I dozed off while I had Pickle's cage door open today, and panicked when I woke up. Thankfully he was still in his cage. It could happen quickly!

They can move quickly especially when your not watching. Glad you found him with no problems [except mom].
