I am trying to do laying boxs that stay in with my 2 female veiled who are about 11 months and never yet laid. Here are my issues, how do you handle water? My mister is automatic 3 times a day and is getting the sand way to wet. How do you keep the sand warm? i am thinking cold sand will not make the girls happy. Last question is how do you keep the damn crickets out of the laying box?
I have been putting the boxs in as needed but I just lost my female panther who wouldn't lay as she started laying on the floor of her cage and I stupidily moved her to a box. I don't want to lose another cham because I am a sucker and it breaks my heart. So any help will be happily accepted.
