i need help! i got a young male veiled chameleon two days ago, and I'm worried he is stressed. I'm wondering what colors display stress, and what i can look out for. He is often light or dark green, but i notice he's brown in his cage frequently. i know brown can be a sign of stress, but he is also hanging out on a very dark brown branch. Any advice will be helpful, thanks!!

He is not turning brown because of the branch. Chameleons do not change colors to match their surroundings contrary to what most people believe. My chameleons are sometimes dark when in their cages. When I bring them out they usually brighten up in colors. Sometimes bright colors can me stress also. You just have to get to know your chameleon.
