I bought my female about 3 months ago, and she was about 7 months
old, she is 10 months now and the first time I put her in his cage
He wanted her and started to mount, she rejected him
So I took her out. It has been about a month and I tried again and he doesn't want her he start to bite her as if he doesn't want her in his cage. So about a week after this I tried putting him in her cage and he acted the same and the female still rejects him as well all they do is open their mouths and snap at each other. And yes they are both male and female. Help don't know what to do.

No idea on the breeding thing, but just a guess, perhaps once rejected by a female, that is it. He may remember her anyway and not want anything to do with her. I have done no reading/research on breeding so that is just a guess. I skipped that stuff for now becuase I have little interest in breeding and only have a male...but the thought of getting a panther at the april 27th show in hamburg pa has been bouncing in my head. I would need everything cage, perches plants, and space. I do have the vits and rs400 monsoon mister, would need more nozzles (I followed some tips on the net about making it better, so as water doesn't get in the top and blow the timer).

firstly dont put them together until the female is showing reseptive colors also try to show him her from out side of the cage instead of just putting them together and seeing what happens if she rejected him chances are she's not ready.
