Help! My chameleon isn't opening his eyes!

That is what is wrong with some stores that sell these pets, they no nothing about their care and give wrong information to the buyers, this is something that needs to be stopped and every store manager needs to be informed that their sells people don't know squat about chameleons and they need to be educated on their care......I'm glad you are taking all the advise given to you here and now changing your way of caring, kudos to you and best of luck with your baby.

My boyfriend bought him for me as a present, since I love animals and I have always wanted a chameleon! They are so cool!!! He bought him at Moby Dicks pet store in Waterford MI. They have hornworms there and also carry silkworms sometimes! They also sell silk worms in battlecreek but that's too far for me.

Just took a trip to Google Maps -- that place is like 25 miles from me! Heck yeah, gonna head over there when they have supers and hornworms at the same time. :D So happy to hear about this! I drove over an hour for hornworms in the cold, haha.

Which place in Battlecreek? Do you know the name?

Exactly, the workers need to be informed! And if they are not informed then they need to tell you that... instead of telling you false information for your pet, look what happens as a result :( I really hope he will recover. Thank you for sending your good luck our way I greatly appreciate it

That's awesome I'm glad I could help you out! Moby Dicks is my favorite pet store, they have everything. I don't know the name of the place in battle creek but try google searching it?

With the proper care, I'm sure he will be ok.

If possible, try to get him outside for natural UVB whenever possible.

And UVB does not pass through glass and plastic FYI.

I just wanted to let you all know I took my baby Claude to the vet and they told me he has an eye infection & upper respiratory infection. They gave me antibiotics and said he should be back to normal in two weeks :) Thank you for all the help and advice!!!
