Help me gut loading answer pls

HI I searched the forum and iam asking too many questions before i get my chameleon so i can make sure that i take the full and good care of my chameleon my question is:

should i be gut loading the crickets is it ok to put crickets a side and vegetables a side is that ok?:confused:

because its hard to provide live crickets in where i live so i will provide dried crickets is that good?:confused:

pls answer

Chameleons usually won't eat any dried bugs. You need to be able to provide live crickets (or another live feeder... roaches, grasshoppers, etc.). Gut load the crickets at least 24 hours or more before you feed them to you chameleon so that they're full of good stuff for your cham. Good luck!
 
Ben is correct. Your chameleons will not eat dead feeders. Make sure to provide live feeders that are full of nutrients because...after all...what goes into the feeders will directly effect the nutrition your chameleon gets.
