Help keeping humidity

Hey everyone!! Any tips and tricks on keeping the humidity in my veiled Chams setup at the right percentage!! My house is 70 degrees and drops to 68 at night.... Humidity stays around 40% in her cage. When I mist it goes right up but once it dries it goes back down!! I just put trash bags on 2 sides of the cage to try to keep the heat and humidity in better!! Here's a pic of her setup!!

Having the humidity drop after the misting is normal. A dry out period is a good thing.

OK great!! So the humidity doesn't have to be 50% all the time!? Cause it sits at about 40-42%
