Help! Is this normal?

I've recently rescued a small chameleon from a parking lot and I noticed that there's something odd with his eye. It doesn't fully close and he rubs it against rough surfaces. It also tends to puff up. Is this just part of his molting or is it a medical issue?

You just rescued yourself a fulltime job and an expensive pet Lol. He may be dehydrated by looms of eyes sunken in a bit, when they puff them out and close them and suck them back in its usually because they are cleaning them/trying to get something stuck out kg them. Welcome aboard. Post your cage and setup and well see how we can help this little rescue have a better life than some parking lot (kudos btw)

Thank you so much. I've been trying to keep him moisturized and have a dripper in place that trickles down some leaves he can easily get to. I'm not home to really keep track of his drinking but I do mist him. Are there other ways to hydrate him?
