I have performed a fecal for a friend but unfortunately i have no idea what they are. The symptoms are: Not very active, not feeding properly, and smelly but not runny feces. I performed the fecal for her and did not find any of the regular culprits. However, i did find wall to wall of wiggly rod shaped and oval shaped organisms at 800x. I did refer her to a vet so they can give her an answer. I perform fecals for my animals every six months but only at an amateur level at any sign of a bug I get a fecal from a lab. However, it left me curious as to what they were. And the amount that they were. She also told me she regularly dusts and feeds pro-biotics but I doubt I could see the bacteria without an oil immersion.
Any ideas?
