Help! I think my chameleon is sick

I've had my chameleon for 3 days and he has barely eaten anything. The place he came from was feeding him crickets so I'm doing the same for now. He has about 10 in there now and shows no interest in eating. His eyes don't look as if they are open all the way either. He's in a proper cage with all the proper temps and lighting. Does anyone know if this is common when first brought home or is something else wrong with him?

It can take a while for them to get used to their surroundings and to feel comfortable eating. Also, make sure the crickets are the correct size for the cham.

Chams are known to not eat for sometimes up to a week or two after bringing them home. Transportation and a new enclosure is very stressful for them. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Do your best to leave him alone and give him some privacy, besides when you mist him, for the next week or so. Dump some crickets in there and just monitor how many there are later in the day. He may very well eat them, but he probably doesn't feel comfortable doing it in front of you yet.

All new owners seem to go through this, but not eating for a few days is extremely common.

They're still pretty small at 2 months old, so medium sized crickets may be too big at this point. Try getting 1/8" or 1/4" crickets. That might help.
