Help! Found Blood

so today i started a thread about charlie pooping out sperm (for thoes who have not read https://www.chameleonforums.com/help-do-chameleons-deposit-sperm-40076/) and i went outside to clean his terrarium and i found blood on some rocks! i immidatly freaked out and now i am in a panic as i donot have the 90$ to take him to the vet he had some dried blood on his vent and i cleaned it off with a wet q-tip, what should i do untill i can get him to the vet??? He looks fine dosnt look stressed at all! here are some pics

he has been sitting in the same spot for quite some time and is moving slower than usual

he ate two superworms the other day do you think that could of caused a tear in his tummy also? or could it be from the hemipenis issue?

I would recommend you come up with money for the vet somehow and get your guy there to see what's going on.

Ive personally have seen Superworms bite into a Chams stomach wall if consumed Quickly and not chewed well. I always clip the pinchers off with sharp small scissors. ---So that could be what has happened. Keep eye on him and if he starts acting like an upset stomach you will know. Not sure how to help that situation though.

well the vet i want to go to isnt in till weds and thurs so ill wait till he poops again and see if its bloody, or if his hemipenis comes out again, i am just so worried for the little guy i never thought i could get so attached to something in 2 months

That is a myth.... Supers will not eat through a chams stomach...

Some types of parasites can cause bloody stool and swollen vents.

Like Jannb said I would come up with the money for the vet and get fecal float/smear done and have him checked out.

Matt, don't have any experience with this. my best guess is that it has something to do with that sperm plug from your other thread this morning. hopefully someone else has advice for ya...

Chameleons are the main reason I have several hundred dollars in my emergency vet fund. Try borrowing some money or working out a plan with your vet. After, I'd start saving money for those emergencies.

Not be sound rude or anything why in the world would you buy an exotic pet with no vet savings? I have a credit card that I opened just for the vet. Nothing else gets put on that card. When this happened to Jasper I was at the hopital right away (well after Julie and Jann said to go). I hope everything is ok because if there is an open wound inside the longer you wait the better chance of it getting infected or something...
