Help!! eye issue!!

I noticed today that my chameleon kiko might have something in his eye! Please tell me if I need to do something or if you've seen this before!!

It does look that way. I'm sure if you have a good level of humidity it should help a lot but I'm not honestly totally sure on how to handle that problem...

a good long warm shower can help him dislodge anything in his eye.

when my chams have that issue, i do like a 20 minute shower time with them.

they usually spend the time bulging the eye in and out to clean it.

also, sometimes they will rub their eye on stuff to remove whatever is in it.

When you say shower you mean spray warm water directly on them? Mine hate that and run for the hills if I do it.

No.

Never spray them directly.

Take a potted plant, pothos, scheffelar, etc. and stick it in your shower on the floor.

aim the shower head towards the wall, and turn the water to lukewarm, then let the water bounce off the wall and mist onto the plant.

then place your cham on the plant, and he can sit in the mist from the shower, without being directly hit.

do not leave him, they can fall off, esp if its their first shower, and it can make them freak out, and they could drown.
