HELP....Discoloration

You'd be iritated too if your skin was peeling off. I'm sure it's annoying to them!
I'm concerned about the dark discoloration though.

Whenever my female cham sheds I let her do her thing. I do mist her more often and use a humidifier, just because that helps. My cham usually gets the same way, very irritable and picky. If all of the skin does not come off in a week, then I help her out because the old skin will cut off circulation to limbs. This doesn't usually happen at all, though.

Update on my girl...well the white was her preparing to shed lol wow she is irritable.. anything I can do to help her?View attachment 197203

Doesn't seem like she is having any issues with the shed. Sometimes it is a good idea to increase mistings to maintain higher humidity, but doesn't seem to be necessary in this case.

On her belly? I have no idea what it is.

Neither do I at the moment....too many possibilities. Keep an eye on it ...and post here if there are any changes in it.

She peeled beautifully, but the black is still there. It's a little less on one side but the same on the other.

Strange discolorations can occasionally happen to chameleons after eating butterworms. Has she eaten any butter worms in the days before developing the discoloration?

No... superworms, meal worms and crickets

I've seen that type of discoloration once before but I can't remember what caused it or where I saw it. I'm hoping I'll remember so I can look it up.
