I have a chameleon baby that we purchased a few weeks ago and today I noticed him on the bottom of the cage on several occasions.. Then I caught the reason why.. He was seizuring and fell to the bottom of the cage I cannot find anything online why this would be happening and someone please help me....
symptoms
locked eyes...seems like he has a major cramping on the entire back portion of his body at first then starts contorting leading up to his upper body until he falls. He will remain at the bottom of the cage for a few seconds this way then he will come around and read climb to the top of the cage and in the process of him climbing he turns dark blackish color...he also has his mouth open if he was gasping for air but only after the seizure so this is not a heat regulating behavior
