I have a 6 mo old veiled male, and he unfortunately is not doing so great. He had a swollen tongue so we went to the vet and got antibiotics to fight the infection. However, he is now to the point where he leaves his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
We are planning on moving in the near future to colorado and we are simply not going to be able to take him with us; he is just in too bad of shape.

We need to find another home for him before we have to leave, with someone that has the expertise and time to nurse him back to health.
We live in San Jose, so someone local would be best.

Please contact me if you are interested in adopting him, we just want to find a good home for him.

He is free to a GOOD home, and comes with his medication - doxycycline - about 300 .2 cc doses

We would like to sell the cage he is in. $100 for the whole system- lights etc.

Please call if interested (619)647-1631

Thanks

Honestly, you probably won't find someone willing to buy a sick chameleon. Now giving it to an experienced person who is willing to pay for all the vet bill he will need is more realistic. I definately wouldn't pay for an animal that I know I would have to pay even more for because it was sick/poorly

I agree with pssh.. If he is sick then nobody more then likely wont want him just for the face vet bills arnt always cheap.. I would take him if I lived closer though.. We have an exotic vet here and I have the money so I wouldnt mind. But I live to far away to get him.. I am sorry, I hope you can find someone closer :(

Oops, missed that part I guess :) well then, if you're willing to ship the cage and all that good stuff I might be interested.

Edit: I would not ship the chameleon. Seems too sick.

Wow I guess I missed that too.. I would take him too if you can ship the cage. :D
Im starting a collection of vields. I have 3 so far! haha

And I didnt think of him being sick.. That wouldnt be such a good idea shipping him then.. Wish I lived closer, sorry.

I am not sure shipping the chameleon would be a great idea if it is sick, and there are a lot of members in California that could take him locally.

So wait, are you interested in the chameleon, or just the cage? I wouldn't want to ship anything but if you live reasonably close I certainly could drive.

Yeah, I called them and found that they are located in so. cal. . Its an option, but i would rather not ship a chameleon if i don't have to.
