Help!! Chameleon is sick after laying eggs...

My Chameleon just layed eggs last week, and since then she hasnt eaten anything, and has been a constant brown and green color.... it seems like she has gone and dug out her hole for the eggs about 5 or 6 times now and i'm not completely sure that she has layed them yet. She seems almost weak and stressed. Please HELP!!

Is she still digging holes after laying? She may have not laid them all. Have you given her the privacy to finish if she needs to? I am thinking a Vet visit may be in order here-she may just be too weak if she has not eaten anything.

I'm not sure if you are saying she is still digging holes. If she is she probably still has some eggs left. Is she drinking? Or is she dehydrated? How many eggs did she lay? I can only guess without more information but it sounds like she might still have eggs and be too weak to lay them. I had a female who went throught that for 4 weeks, finally laid 36 eggs, and pulled through it but only with an extreme amount of support and 4 vet visits. Without that she NEVER would have made it through. If you think she still has eggs and she is not eating or drinking, DON'T contact the forum for more answers because she needs more than what we can give, just get her to the vets. Time is of the essence and without immediate medical intervention her chances won't be good. Keep us informed and good luck.
